PHRYGIA. Cadi. Trebonianus Gallus, 251-253. Hexassarion (Bronze, 34 mm, 18.61 g, 6 h), Aur. Charidèmos, son of Gaianos, first archon for the second time. ΑΥΤ Κ Γ ΟΥΙ ΓΑΛΛΟϹ ϹЄΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trebonianus Gallus to right, seen from behind. Rev. ЄΠΙ ΑΥΡ ΧΑΡΙΔΗΜΟΥ ΓΑΙΑΝΟΥ ΑΡΧ Α / ΤΟ Β - ΚΑΔΟΗΝΩΝ Cult statue of Artemis Ephesia, with supports and stags flanking, standing facing within temple with four columns. BMC 47. RPC IX 859. Very rare. Small flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
